On Campus Internet Access and Computer Use

A computer lab with nine Microsoft Windows and one MacIntosh computers available in the Mudd Building for Summer Session student use. All computers have high speed internet access, word processing software, and CD-R drives. Students must supply their own paper, disks and CD's. The computer lab is open from 8 a.m to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m to 6 p.m. Fridays, and on the weekend when the Summer Session office is open. The GTU Library also has several computers with internet access and a collection of academic research databases.

Additionally, there is wireless internet access throughout much of the common areas of the campus. Student must have a wireless card capabile of 128 bit encryption, and the card must be registered in person at the campus IT office, before access is granted. Additionally, there are several free wireless access points through the neighborhood and in local cafes and resturants.
