Open Enrollment. Any adult can register for our courses. There is no formal application or matriculation procedure. Those enrolling for graduate credit are expected to have a baccalaureate degree or equivalent education. Typically our student body consists of clergy, members of religious orders, active lay persons, seminary students (both from GTU schools and other seminaries), graduate and undergraduate students at other institutions, persons considering attending seminary, artists, teachers, business professionals, and others from all walks of life.

Transferring Credit. The receiving institution always determines whether or not to accept transfer credit. Please check with your registrar and/or academic advisor, prior to enrolling, as to the applicability of Summer Session courses to your particular degree program, and area of study.

Enrollments are accepted up to the Friday preceding the course start date. There is no requirement for formal admission. Enrollment in Summer Session courses does not indicate you are or would be admitted to academic or certificate programs at the GTU or any of its member schools.

We encourage you to enroll early. Some courses reach capacity by mid-April. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit (per course) guarantees your seat in any course.

Group Rates

There is a 20% tuition reduction for groups of 5 or more persons from the same organization enrolling for the same course. Please contact us for more information.

Grading Policies

On the first day of class academic students declare whether they prefer a letter grade or pass/fail status. CEU students must be present in class to receive CEU credit hours. Students have until 3 weeks after the last class meeting to complete the academic requirements. Students who do not complete the academic requirements, but who attended class will be changed to CEU status. Grades of "Incomplete" will not be issued.
